Celebrating 20+ Years Of Empowering People: Providers Shaping Policies

In 2015, ABCD celebrated 20 years of leadership in the developmental disability community, including its successful advocacy, education and lobbying in several priority areas: community services, special education, provider rate setting, and legislation. ABCD has a visible presence in the Legislature and Departments of Human Services, Health, Education and Children and Families. Over the years, ABCD added three new membership groups so that those providers would have a uniform voice at the policy table.
