Emerging Leaders Group
WHEN: Every Other Month
WHO: Full Members, DDA Members
A live peer group learning opportunity for ABCD member agencies future executive talent. Through the exploration of best practices in industry areas that are overarching and far reaching, the group provides opportunities for big picture thinking in a safe environment, inter-agency camaraderie and connections, developing a sense of detachment to rise above chaos and immediate needs, and creation, inspiration, and innovation. The group is open to Full Member and DDA Member organizations.
Early Intervention Committee
WHEN: Monthly, plus as needed
WHO: Full Members, EIPA Members
The Early Intervention Providers Association (EIPA) meets every other month, more frequently as issues require. Policies and procedures which impact the early intervention services are shared, reviewed, and discussed. Recommendations are made to staff and the Board on issues related to early intervention for advocacy and follow up. Meetings are open to EIPA Members and Full Member Organizations that have early intervention as a service area.
Support Coordination Committee
WHEN: Monthly
WHO: Full Members, SCA Members
The Support Coordination Alliance (SCA) meets monthly, more frequently if issues require. Policies and procedures which impact support coordination services are shared, reviewed, and discussed. Recommendations are made to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to SCA Members and Full Member Organizations that have support coordination as a service area.
Chief Financial and Operational Officers Forum
WHEN: Quarterly
WHO: Full Members, DDA Members
The Chief Financial Officers and Operational Forum meets quarterly, more frequently if issues require. CFOs, COOs, and AEDs discuss policy and regulatory issues that impact the financial and operational components of the service delivery system. Recommendations are made to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations and DDA Members.
Human Resource Directors Forum

WHO: Full Members, DDA Members
The Human Resource Forum meets every other month, more frequently if issues require. Human Resource Directors discuss policy and regulatory issues that impact the human resource component of the service delivery system. Recommendations are made to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations and DDA Members.
Quality Assurance Forum

WHO: Full Members, DDA Members
The Quality Assurance Forum meets quarterly. Quality Assurance Directors discuss policy and regulatory issues that impact the quality of the service delivery system. Recommendations are made to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations and DDA Members.
Legislative and Policy Committee
WHEN: Monthly
WHO: Full Members
The Committee reviews current and proposed legislation and statutes that impact the overall delivery of services to the people served. The Committee recommends positions and whether testimonials should be offered. The Committee also identifies issues and the need for ABCD Position papers and/or legislation by Lawmakers. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations.
Day Program Committee

The Committee meets to discuss and impact the policies and regulations that effect the provision of day services and programs for individuals in the community. The Committee makes recommendations to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations.
Residential Program Committee

WHO: Full Members
The Committee meets to discuss and impact the policies and regulations that affect the provision of residential services for individuals in the community. The Committee makes recommendations to staff and Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations.
Supports Program Forum

The Supports Program Form meets quarterly. Day program and services directors and staff discuss policy and regulatory issues impacting their programs. Recommendations are made to staff and the Board for advocacy and follow-up. Meetings are open to Full Member Organizations and DDA Members.
Supervisors Forum (Pilot)

WHO: Full Members
The Supervisors Forum meets monthly. Day and Residential Supervisors discuss the professional challenges and issues they encounter. Membership is by application and open to Full Member Organizations
