Policy Solution in the Event the 20% Residential Supplemental Payment is Discontinued

ABCD agencies anticipate that some individuals will remain in their group homes either by choice or
necessity for the remainder of the pandemic. If the 20% Residential Payment is discontinued, the public
health emergency continues, and on weekday mornings and afternoons the individual chooses:
• To attend day program, the cost will be paid out of their budget.
• To attend lap swim at the YMCA, the cost will be paid out of their budget
• To return to work with Supportive Employment individual supports, the cost will be paid out of
their budget.
• To remain in their group home, the cost will not be paid out of their budget but instead borne by
the provider and free to the individual.
