DHS Annual Budget Listening Session
On November 19, 2024, ABCD joined with trade groups, agencies, and self-advocates focused on the issues and services impacting individuals with IDD to provide input on the FY’26 Budget during DHS’s annual listening session hosted by Commissioner Adelman and leadership staff. ABCD called for an annualized across the board increase for all DDD community providers, a reimbursement rate for transportation to and from day habilitation, and an increase to the rate for habilitative speech language therapy.
