ABCs at ABCD: Time is Money

Once again, ABCD members benefit from the knowledge, experience and generosity of Epstein, Becker and Green attorney, Maxine (Mickey) Neuhauser, Esq. this time in her presentation on wage and hour issues, Time is Money: Compensation and Compliance Overview. 

“Issues on wage and hour are the ‘elephant in the room;’ people would like to ignore it, but it is complex, fraught, and more dangerous than you might have otherwise thought.” Thus began the lunch and learn where participants learned that wage and hour lawsuits have increased exponentially, common causes, that all rules apply to remote work, of potential exposure and that an employer cannot insure against it.  “In the world of employment law, nobody cares that you are a non-profit.”
