Dr. Dan Balboni Presentation

ABCD hosted Dr. Balboni on November 11^th for a presentation entitled: The Complexities of Accurately Diagnosing Mental Health Conditions in the IDD Population.  Dr. Balboni is the Director of Psychological and Social Services at Matheny Medical and Education Center.  He explained the importance of learning about the complications and common mistakes of misdiagnosis of mental health issues within the IDD population and why it is so important to be informed and trained on of these types of diagnoses in order to assist and serve this vulnerable population.
