ICE Presentation
ABCD members gathered for a virtual lunch and learn presentation regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Mike Dawkins of Baker Donelson was quite informative and provided many scenarios for the members and possible solutions to interactions with ICE should they occur at our facilities, group homes, or when providing services in a family home. The members asked pertinent questions, and Mike was kind enough to include information on the recently enacted New Jersey law that provides safe havens around schools and hospitals.
