ABCD EIPA Joins “UP” Leadership Team
ACNJ received a multi-year grant from the Pritzker Children’s Initiative for “UP.” The vision of Unlocking Potential Part II or “UP” is to prioritize voices of expectant parents, caregivers, and services providers as a driving force for prenatal to three services. The collective efforts will result in stronger more equitable communities where every child thrives, and families find support and opportunity. By fostering empowerment and racial equity the futures of generations to come will be transformed.
We are pleased ACNJ has asked ABCD to be involved in this important effort and that Carolyn Russo-Azer, Director of Early Intervention Services at Pillar Care Continuum and Virginia Lynn, Director of the Early Intervention Program at Children’s Specialized Hospital and Chair of the State Interagency Coordination Council’s Service Delivery Committee will be representing ABCD EIPA on the leadership team. Carolyn and Ginny have many years of experience in the EI system, serving thousands of toddlers each year throughout New Jersey, including underserved communities.
By 2027 the goal is to have 100% of families with children prenatal to age 3 that live in 5 designated historically underserved communities to be connected to resources they want and need so their families can thrive.
