ABCD Welcomes Children’s Aid and Family Services
ABCD is pleased to welcome Children’s Aid and Family Services to the DDA. ABCD looks forward to working with this important provider of DDD Community Services.
Children’s Aid and Family Services is a nonprofit human services agency that empowers individuals, strengthens families, and supports healthier communities. Since 1899, it has responded to the changing needs of the community by providing services that help people overcome challenges, build on their strengths, and reach their fullest potential. Today, the agency is a recognized leader in disability support services, programs for children and families, and substance misuse prevention and recovery services.
Through community residences located in Bergen, Essex, and Passaic counties, and a day habilitation program, the agency helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities lead richer, fuller lives and participate fully in their communities.
It also provides a broad range of services that support children, strengthen families, and help individuals facing life’s challenges. Each year, Children’s Aid and Family Services serves more than 28,000 people throughout New Jersey. For more information, visit cafsnj.org or call 201-261-2800.
Children’s Aid and Family Services is a proud member of ABCD (Alliance for the Betterment of Citizens with Disabilities), NADSP (National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals), and NJAMHAA (New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies).
