Reflective Supervision
The January 16th ABCD presentation on Reflective Supervision was well attended by our members. Our presenter, Leanne Delsart, is the Wisconsin DHS Children, Youth and Families Section Manager as well as owner of LND Consulting.
Reflective Supervision uses tools from Motivational Interviewing that open a deeper dialogue with the individuals and teams that leaders supervise, with the goal of enhanced compassion and satisfaction. Leanne explained these tools and how they can assist supervisors and used breakout sessions to go over real-life instances with the attendees. Our attendees were engaged, attentive and asked cogent questions about the program.
