New “Home Model” proposed by DOH
Since posting our November 15 position wherein ABCD maintained that the current EI delivery system should remain until further dialogue exchange and infrastructure development, DOH’s revised LOA has been distributed for review and signature by EIPs.
ABCD is pleased that the LOA points all providers in the direction of improved quality. We look forward to the establishment of minimum standards, weighted criteria, and a monitoring system.
ABCD’s EIPA stands ready to participate in the planned workgroup and partnering with DOH to assure the attainment and maintenance of high-quality services.
